SurveyMonkey is a fantastic tool for creating surveys and collecting feedback, but if you’re ready to move on or trim digital expenses, canceling your subscription is straightforward—if you know where to look. This guide covers all the steps, whether you signed up on the website, via app stores, or just want to keep your account for free.

Canceling SurveyMonkey on the Website (PC/Mac)
Log In: Visit surveymonkey.com and sign into your account.
Go to My Account: Click your username or avatar in the upper right, then select ‘My Account’.
Find Billing Details: In your account dashboard, go to ‘Billing Details’ or the ‘Subscription’ tab.
Cancel Auto-Renewal: Locate the ‘Auto-renew’ setting. Click to disable auto-renewal, and follow prompts to confirm your cancellation.
Finish & Confirm: Complete all prompts, confirm you want to cancel, and look for a confirmation email. Your account will be downgraded to the free (Basic) plan at the end of your current billing period.
Tip: If you don’t see a clear cancel option, search “cancel” in their help center or reach out to support for assistance.
If You Subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play
iOS (Apple):Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SurveyMonkey → Cancel Subscription.
Android (Google Play):Open the Play Store → Profile Icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → SurveyMonkey → Cancel.
You must cancel in your phone’s settings—the website won’t process app store billing.
What Happens Next?
Your subscription stops at the end of the billing period—no refunds for unused time unless required by law.
Account stays active on the free plan. Paid features disappear, but your data is safe unless you delete your account entirely.
You’ll get a confirmation email. Save it in case of billing issues.
