Ubisoft Plus is Ubisoft’s own game subscription service, giving you instant access to a huge catalog of their titles—including new releases right on launch day. Maybe you signed up just for the latest Assassin’s Creed or to replay old favorites, but now the $14.99 or $17.99 monthly cost doesn’t make sense for you. Canceling is a smart way to save up to $215 a year if you’re not actively playing.

This guide will walk you through canceling on desktop, iOS, and Android, so you can get it done without any extra drama.

How to Cancel Ubisoft Plus Subscription on Desktop

Canceling Ubisoft Plus is only possible directly on the Ubisoft website, not in the desktop app. The process is straightforward, but you need to dig into your account settings a bit:

  1. Go to the Ubisoft Store WebsiteOpen your browser and head to the official Ubisoft Store. Trying this in the Ubisoft Connect app just redirects you back to the website.

  2. Log Into Your AccountMake sure to log in with the account that actually has the active subscription. If you have multiple Ubisoft accounts, double-check you’re in the right one.

  3. Find the “My Subscription” PageClick the profile icon (your avatar) in the top-right corner. In the dropdown, look for and select My Subscription. Sometimes this can be a little tricky to find—don’t give up if it’s not immediately obvious.

  4. Click “Cancel Membership”On the subscription page, look for the small Cancel Membership button or link and click it. Ubisoft doesn’t make this big and flashy, so look carefully.

  5. Confirm Your CancellationUbisoft may ask for feedback on why you’re leaving and might try dangling a special offer. If you’re sure, just keep clicking through until you confirm.

  6. Check for ConfirmationThe page should update to show your subscription’s end date, and you’ll get a confirmation email. If you don’t see the email, refresh the page and check again to make sure it actually went through.

💡 Personal note: Sometimes the subscription page loads slowly or doesn’t appear on mobile, but switching to desktop fixed it for me. Don’t panic if it seems buggy—just try again after refreshing the page.

How to Cancel Ubisoft Plus Subscription on iOS

If you signed up for Ubisoft Plus through the Apple App Store, you can only cancel using your Apple settings:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)

  3. Go to Subscriptions

  4. Find Ubisoft Plus in the list

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

👉 Apple doesn’t offer a pause option—cancellation is the only way out. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription; you have to do it here.

How to Cancel Ubisoft Plus Subscription on Android

If you started your Ubisoft Plus subscription through Google Play, you need to cancel there:

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Tap your Profile Icon (top right)

  3. Go to Payments & Subscriptions

  4. Tap Subscriptions

  5. Find Ubisoft Plus and tap Cancel

💡 Heads-up: If you subscribed on Ubisoft’s website, you won’t see Ubisoft Plus in Google Play’s list. You’ll need to cancel online, as described above.

Extra Tips and What Happens Next

  • Ubisoft does not offer refunds for the current billing period. You’ll keep access until your paid month is over, and then it shuts off.

  • Your saved games and account remain, so you can resubscribe later and pick up where you left off—just no access to the actual games until then.

  • There’s no “pause” option with Ubisoft Plus; it’s cancel or keep paying.

Final Thoughts

Canceling Ubisoft Plus is simpler than many other gaming subscriptions, but the process is hidden enough to be annoying. Take the steps above, double-check your email for confirmation, and rest easy knowing you’re not throwing money away every month on something you don’t use. If the next game launch drags you back later, you can rejoin with just a couple of clicks.
