Grubhub Plus is an awesome way to get free delivery and other perks, but sometimes you just want to cancel—maybe you’re not using it enough, or you want to cut down on monthly charges. But what if the option to cancel just isn’t showing up in your app? Don’t worry, there are still ways to end your membership and stop those auto-renewal fees.

Cancel Grubhub Plus via the App or Website

On iOS and Android App

  1. Open the Grubhub app and log in.

  2. Tap your Account icon.

  3. Select Grubhub+ Membership.

  4. Tap Manage Membership.

  5. Hit Cancel Membership and confirm your choice.

Note: Some users report that the cancel button doesn’t always appear for everyone. If you’re not seeing the option, read on for alternatives.

On Desktop (Web)

  1. Go to grubhub.com and log in.

  2. Click the account drop-down menu (top right corner).

  3. Choose Grubhub+.

  4. Click Cancel Membership and follow the prompts.

Still Can’t Cancel? Try These Steps

  • Check if You Subscribed through Amazon or Apple:If your Grubhub Plus is tied to an Amazon Prime benefit, you’ll need to unlink Grubhub from your Amazon account in your Amazon settings—not in the Grubhub app.For App Store subscriptions, cancel via iOS Settings:

    • Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

    • Select Grubhub and cancel from there.

  • Contact Grubhub Support Directly:If no cancel option appears, reach out to Grubhub customer support via the app, website, or by calling their helpline. Support can trigger the cancellation for you.

  • As a Last Resort:If support doesn’t respond, and you believe you’re being charged in error, you may contact your bank to dispute ongoing charges, but always try going through Grubhub first for a smoother resolution.

What Happens After You Cancel?

  • Your membership stays active until the end of the paid period, but you won’t be billed again.

  • There are generally no refunds for partial months, so cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal to avoid being charged again.

Tip: Never Lose Track of Subscriptions Again

Grubhub Plus isn’t the only subscription that makes canceling tricky. Tools like SubSweeper help you track, manage, and get reminders for every subscription—so you’ll never pay for something you don’t use. I built SubSweeper after struggling to cancel my own food app memberships, and now I never get caught off guard by hidden renewals.

If you can’t find the Grubhub Plus cancel option in the app, try the desktop site, check if you signed up with Amazon or Apple, or contact support for help. Cancel early to avoid another month’s fee, and consider using subscription trackers like SubSweeper for hassle-free management next time!
