How to Cancel Skool Subscription (2025)

Which “Skool subscription” do you have?

  • Member of a paid Skool community (you pay to access someone’s group). Cancel in your Profile → Settings → Communities.

  • Group owner/creator (you pay Skool for your group plan). Cancel in the group’s Settings → Billing. Mobile users: scroll the top settings tabs horizontally to find Billing.

Cancel as a paid member of a community

  1. Click your profile pic → Settings.

  2. Open Communities, click SETTINGS next to the group.

  3. Choose Manage membership → Cancel and confirm.You’ll stay in the group until the end of the current billing cycle. In the mobile app: ⋯ (three dots) → Group Settings → Manage Membership → Cancel.


If your payment was processed off Skool (creator used their own checkout), cancel with that provider/creator. Skool Help Center

Cancel as a group owner/creator

  1. Open the group SETTINGS (Community Settings).

  2. Go to Billing → Manage subscription.

  3. Click Cancel subscription and finish the prompts.On mobile, swipe the settings tabs to reach Billing.

Tip for creators: if you run a subscription community, Skool recommends canceling members’ subscriptions (or sharing the member-cancellation guide) before you cancel your own group plan.

Refunds & money stuff (read this)

  • Refunds are creator-controlled. Skool’s policy lets creators decide refunds for their members; Skool rarely refunds on a creator’s behalf. Canceling or leaving a group does not auto-refund a recent charge—message the group admins if you need one.

  • End date: After canceling, access continues until your current paid period ends (shown when you cancel).

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t find Billing (owners)?  You’re likely on mobile—scroll the top settings menu horizontally to reveal Billing.

  • No cancel button (members)? You probably paid off-platform; contact the creator or use the payment provider you used.
